Congratulations to Amy & Mike! Their wedding ceremony took place on May 25th at Sandbridge Beach in Virginia Beach. This was a very intimate occasion with about 50 close family members and friends in attendance. The reception was held at a nearby beach house, where the bride’s sister prepared LOTS of great food. Once many of the guests were full, they realized the coconut shrimp, beef skewers and crab cakes were just appetizers… whew! Anyway, here are some images from Amy & Mike’s special day.

Thanks to all who attended the annual Cox Employee Gala on last Saturday. I had a blast creating portraits of the employees and their guests throughout the night. Thanks to Kimberly and Tiffanie for allowing me to be a part of this occasion. Also, BIG thanks to my assistants who worked tirelessly to keep the paperwork organized and the line moving. The Virginia Beach Convention Center hosted the event, with hundreds of people in attendance. Here’s an image of the ballroom I managed to capture, just before the doors opened. These are the kind of days I just LOVE! :o) On the first Sunday of November, I had the honor of photographing the Baker sisters. I was asked to update a family portrait of the four of them during their visit to Virginia Beach. One thing special about this session, is that it served as a surprise birthday gift for their mother. I feel so blessed to have played such a big role in this moment of their lives, and provide such an amazing gift of a portrait. Here are a few from the outdoor session.

I had the pleasure of photographing the annual Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk in Virginia Beach. The event took place on September 29th at Red Wing Park. We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather! Many of the walking teams stopped by for a group photo. Celebrities Rudy Boesch (Survivor, season 1) and Joe Flanagan (WVEC Channel 13 News anchor) were on hand to help kick off this year’s Memory Walk. Thanks to Dana for organizing such a successful event. Also, thanks to Pat & Laura for helping me keep the groups organized.
