Bishop Blake in Richmond

By Wednesday, March 19, 2008May 25th, 2012Events

On last Thursday, I had the opportunity to photograph a portion of the Annual Spring Workers' Conference, where Bishop Charles E. Blake (Presiding Bishop, Church of God in Christ Worldwide) was the guest preacher. The theme of this year's conference was "Seeking God's Help; Entering a Promising New Future". The Historic Virginia First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, COGIC served as host for the 6-day event. Thursday night's service was held with a standing-room-only congregation, at Community COGIC in Richmond VA. Here are some images from Bishop Blake's appearance in Virginia.

Thank you for making your pictures of black people beautiful.

I personally am not photogenic, I always come out looking so dark, granted I am dark and beautiful. Would really like a family portrait.

  • James says:

Bishop Ted Thomas is by far one of the greatest bishops in the historical Church of God in Christ, Inc. Let us support him in November in the COGIC elections, as he is running for the general board of our church.

I believe Bishop Blake can preach the walls of heaven down every Sunday. Prayer is the Key But Faith unlocks the door.
